Following Christ
I am a Christian, which is to say that I follow the teachings of the bible. I believe in the Trinity of God, the father, His son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. I believe that Jesus died for our sins, and rose from the grave to conquer death and defeat sin. I read and study the bible so that I might know more about God, and to foster the growth of a personal relationship with Him through Jesus Christ our Lord and savior. I passionately serve in my church so that others might come to know Him and to make Him known. I am a sinner, and I am not perfect. I make mistakes, I fall short and stumble in my walk of faith. But through the grace of God and the power of the cross that Jesus died on, I am saved from an eternity of fire and pain! I am set free from my sins, and given a new life! Every day I strive to live the life God has designed for me, and to be as close to Jesus as possible. But I can never earn grace and forgiveness, it has been given already! If you would like to know more about my faith, please feel free to ask me and I will share it with you, but be prepared to listen with an open heart and open mind.
Video Games
I LOVE to play games of all kinds and all platforms. I am competitive by nature, but only in a fair and balanced manner. Video games are my first choice of platform, but challenge me to a game of poker or Monopoly and it's game on!
My son and I play video games together all the time, and my daughter and wife enjoy playing board games as a family. Our whole tribe enjoys fun group challenges, competitive team play, and head to head action.

Music
I love music! I love to sing, to play the drums, and to play my guitar! I just wish I was disciplined to sit down and practice more! Singing brings great joy to my heart, especially when I sing songs of worship and praise to my God! Nothing can truly describe the awesome feeling you get when you lift up your voice to your heavenly Father in adoration and humility. It's something we all should do on a regular basis; it recharges my "life battery" and helps me get through this thing we call life! I love to try to learn new songs on my guitar, the challenge is rewarding in itself. I am not an avid drummer either, but I feel the rhythm inside me screaming to get out, and when I sit down with a pair of drum sticks then I just start whaling on the skins!!

A nerd (adjective: nerdy) is a person, typically described as being overly intellectual, obsessive, or socially impaired. They may spend inordinate amounts of time on unpopular, obscure, or non-mainstream activities, which are generally either highly technical or relating to topics of fiction or fantasy, to the exclusion of more mainstream activities. "Nerd" is a derogatory, stereotypical term, but as with other pejoratives, it has been reclaimed and redefined by some as a term of pride and group identity.
The word geek is a slang term for odd or non-mainstream people, with different connotations ranging from "a computer expert or enthusiast" to "a person heavily interested in a hobby", with a general pejorative meaning of "a peculiar or otherwise dislikable person, especially one who is perceived to be overly intellectual".
Lets see, I love the Syfy Channel, Star Trek, Star Wars, comics and super hero movies, almost anything science fiction or fantasy, playing games, reading books, comics, toys...
